Before Surgery

"Hello everyone! My name is Dahye and I want to share my surgery experience at GNG Hospital!"

I always had concerns about my uneven facial line and didn't like my asymmetric face line. I thought this is because of my fat and baby fat. When my friend was looking for hospital for two jaw surgery and rhinoplasty, I visited GNG Hospital together and had consultation with my friends.

Though I didn't have plan to get plastic surgery and just got consultation, GNG Hospital provided meticulous examinations before consultation. During the consultation, I found my problem is not my fat but facial BONE!!

Before the surgery, though I lost quite a lot of weight, my facial line was uneven and my skin was droopy. I think my fat and square mandible made my skin look more droopy."


A Week Post Operation

"After one week, I am still swollen up but I can see the change after surgery! I was surprised that I don't have much swelling and bruise. My friends said I look cute as hamster!"

Two Weeks After Surgery

"It has been two months after surgery. I used to hide my uneven facial line with my hair, but these days I like to tie my hair up and do all types of hairstyles I could never do before because of my big face!!" 

Three Weeks Post Operation

"Today is Christmas! Though it's been less than one month, I don't have any trouble in my daily life. My friends said, I look much prettier than before and very natural!"

"On one month post operation, I went to Jeon-Ju city for travel. I walked around wearing Korean traditional dress. Swelling went away faster than I expected but still small swelling has left on my face. Except it, everything is perfect! Even doctors and nurses said, I am recovering really fast!"

"It has been two month after surgery. I used to hide my facial line with hair before the surgery, these days I like to tie my hair and do pony-tail style!"

Right after surgery

It's such a bad photo hahaha

Even though it looks little weird due to the bandage and ice pack, it's really helpful to reduce the swelling.
It was very comfortable because the ward was a private room which has small personal fridge and washbasin and I could watch TV while lying down.

The nurses often came in the room to change the ice pack!

3rd day post-op

Dr.Choi said I will get maximum swelling on the 3rd day post-op which was so true ^^; 

However, after 3rd day, swelling was subsidizing pretty quickly.

I was not worried :)

7th day post-op

Compare to 3rd day post-op, the swelling went down quite a lot now!

Bruise changed to yellow color and it slowly went down to the bottom of my face and eventually disappeared.

I went to the hospital to see a doctor and he said I'm healing well and everything is fine!

14th day post-op

Can you see my jaw line?

It amazes me whenever I look at myself in the mirror.

Now, I can have soft meat(I should avoid chewy food for sometime after the facial contouring!)
Every time, I go to the hospital for follow up treatment and check up, they took 3D-CT scan and doctor checked on me.
Everything was professional and well organized.

1 month post-op

It's been 1 month post-op.

I have no problem so far.

And I can eat all the food I want to eat hehe.

3 months post-op

Time flies hahaha.

Before the surgery, I was worried about the result. Like, 'what if the result might be unnatural...'

But it was a unnecessary worry :)

The first 1~2 weeks was tough but after that it got better!

It was the first time I had professional photo shoot and it was interesting and fun!

Before surgery

I had an insecurity about my eyes,nose,cheekbone.

I couldn't even imagine to go out without double eyelids gel.

I disliked my blunt nose tip,low now bridge and protruded cheekbone and mouth. 

My friend introduced GNG Hospital to me.

I had faith in GNG Hospital because I have seen my friend's surgery result and also it has thorough after care system.

I wanted to improve over all my face feature so decided to get double eyelids surgery, rhinoplasty and facial contouring, all at the same time.

2nd day post-op

When I was discharged, the nurse removed the bandage from my face.

It was hard to breath on the first week since I got rhinoplasty with facial contouring.

7th day post-op

It's been 7th day post-op~

My cast was removed today~ 

I have been walking a lot everyday because it reduces the swelling more quickly.

I went to the hospital for follow up treatment as well as seeing doctor.

 After taking 3D-CT scan, doctors checked my condition in person and explained about the surgery. 

It was very helpful and relieved.

14th day post-op

Some people said swelling went down unevenly but my eyes were even during the recovery period! When the Silastics were removed on the 2nd weeks post-op, it felt really good! No more stuffiness! 

21st day post-op

I really think I don't need to wear a make up anymore since now I have pretty and clear eyes and nose!

1 month post-op

Time flies ~
Now I can enjoy all the food(I had some snacks...ddeok  bok ggi, deep-fried veg and soondea)

The swelling on my eyes and nose area is almost gone! Yeah!!

2 months post-op

It's been 2 months after the surgery. 

Major swelling went down in 1st month!! 

I had photo shoot hehe

It was my first time someone did my hair and make up!

It was really professional~ 

3 months post-op

I was depressed whenever I remove my make up but now I am happy even without make up!

Before surgery

I had an insecurity about protruded cheek bone and angular jaw which made my face look bigger ,compare to my skinny and small body size.
And my crooked nose made my face even more angular and protruded :(
Even though, I am early 20s but look so old...
One of the staffs in GNG Hospital who is also my friend recommended me to get rhinoplasty.
I didn't want to use any foreign implants so decided to get Noplant surgery which is GNG Hospital's specialty.

Right after being discharged

I was discharged 1 day after my surgery.

I got facial contouring as well so had more swelling which caused difficulty of breathing.

I could be patient imaging my beautiful face after full recovery. 

When I was discharged, GNG Hospital gave me some more gauze, gargle and ice pack, ect.

7th day post-op

Swelling went down to my lower face so my face looks fat but I could see protruded cheek bone and angular jaws are improved after the surgery.
I was so happy :)
I think time will heal everything especially my bruise.

14th day post-op

I thought it would be perfect once my swelling disappears!
I don't have protruded side cheek bone anymore and this is exactly what I wanted.
Yeah!!!

21st day post-op

From the side, my nose bridge looks too high but it's only for now and eventually it will get lower and natural.

1 month post-op

I have seen the doctor for 3rd week follow up.
And I went to Europe for a month~
I recovered in Europe hahaha
I was worried but I walked around a lot in Europe which reduced my swelling faster!
And I could enjoy food without any discomfort :)

2 months post-op

This is me in the return flight.
Swelling went down a lot but I gained weight Oops....

3 months post-op

It's been 3 months post-op!!
I had a professional photo shoot.

Before surgery 

Hello, I am a beauty creator, Pim~^^

As a beauty creator, good make up skill is important but I  had an insecurity because my job requires me to be exposed to many people.

I had a rhinoplasty once but the result was not good.

And I got to know GNG Hospital!

It was specialized in facial surgery and I was looking for revision rhinoplasty and facial contouring to improve my uneven face line!

More over, there is a Thai interpreter who is very helpful since I can't speak Korean.

So I chose to go to GNG Hospital without thinking.

 14th day post-op

I had short tour in Korea after my surgery and follow up treatment and came back to my country~

It's been only 2 weeks post-op so it's still swollen and little bit uncomfortable.

But, fortunately, I can wear a make up ^^

21st day post-op 

It's been 3 weeks post-op and I can see my face line clearly after swelling reduced!

It was a good choice to get all the surgeries!

Even though I came back to my country and still keep in touch with GNG Hospital to ask some questions.

They replied me so fast! 

1 month post-op 

It's been 1 month post-op and started filming my video again as a beauty creator~!
Many people told me that I became prettier >.< ♥

3 months post-op

I think I don't have swelling anymore hehe

I have been doing well and there is no discomfort~

Oh! I went back to GNG Hospital recently to get a check up by doctor and took professional photos!!

I usually do make up by myself but this time someone did for me.

It was interesting feeling~^^

5 months post-op

When I look at the pictures, I can see all my swelling is gone hahaha 

Everything is fine and I almost forgot that I got a surgery ^^;;

6 months post-op 

I am working hard as a beauty creator!

Thanks to GNG Hospital, I am enjoying my job and became happier :)

I was worried and scared of going to another country alone to get a surgery but GNG Hospital

took so good care of me~ I was really comfortable~
