Accusculpt: The Enemy of Father Time

Hello! It has been a while. I have noticed over time that people come to visit our hospital to look younger. It is said that Father Time is never defeated....but we can tell him to come a little later. You see people often associate anti-aging procedures with Botox and while Botox is a popular procedure, some people have different needs. Today I would like to introduce Accu-Sculpt. It is a procedure that we here at GNG provide to people wishing to get rid of fat or sagging skin.

Accu-Sculpt procedure uses a laser machine that is known to effectively and quickly remove facial fat in the face to create a slender and more prominent face line while at the same time facilitating elasticity of the skin.
Accusculpt is FDA, and CE approved in Europe and in the States and also has a worldwide patent; therefore you can conclude that it is a safe machine. The doctor will design the fat extraction area prior to surgery and once the melting process is complete, the fat is extracted using micro extraction. It is also known to give a lifting effect because it promotes collagen production in the skin tissue by stimulating the skin area.

Functional Surgery at GNG Hospital along with rhinoplasty at once!

When you have deviated nose or difficulty of breathing, it is highly likely you would have nasal obstruction(deviated septum/enlarged turbinates/narrow nasal valve). It can be inborn or acquired. 

* Symptoms of deviated septum, chronic hypertrophic rhinitis and nasal valve stenosis: A deviated septum is a condition in which the nasal septum composed of the bone and cartilage is significantly off center, leading to enlargement of the middle or inferior turbinates. It causes nasal congestion in most cases, but if it gets worse, it is accompanied by several symptoms requiring surgical correction.

There are 3 types of functional surgery to fix deviated nose and inner structure.

1. Septoplasty: The nasal septum is opened to expose the septum cartilage and bones, then the deviated part is straightened, fixed in place, and the incision is sutured.

2. Turbinoplasty: After the nasal mucosa is incised, turbinate bones and the nasal mucosa are removed as much as necessary.

3. Nasal Valve Reconstruction: Autologous or donated cartilage is used to widen the narrow nasal valve.

Full Face Fat Graft

Full face fat graft 

Adding fat to the mid area of the face will help add volume and dimension for a more youthful image and smaller face.

Fat will be taken from the stomach or thigh region, stitches will be removed from the 5th-7th day post op.

The average absorption rate is estimated to be around 30-40%. 

Stem cell injection or PRP injection can also be considered after a consultation to increase.

Constant movement of muscles in the fat grafted area can cause higher absorption rate. 

Botox injection is recommended to help ensure longevity to the fat.

Facial Contouring Surgery!

Dani had zygoma reduction and V-line surgery :)

Patient needs to sign on the consent form before the surgery. 

This time, our consultant explains about the surgery once more.

After facial contouring surgery, patient will be moved to the recovery room which is connected to the surgery room to recover from anesthesia.

Professional nurses will monitor patient's condition during the recovery. 

Patient is moved to the private room in a ward at 8F.

After those facial contouring, patient stays in a ward for 2 nights.

The white bandage around the face which is preventing from excessive swelling will be removed on the 3rd day post-op.

GNG Hospital offers free hair shampoo service. 

Hair shop is 5 mins away from our hospital on foot :)

Before seeing doctor for the last time, we take one more 3D-CT scan and X-ray for the patient to show the result precisely. 

Even though Dr.Choi shows to patients their excised bone in person after the surgery.

Pepero Day in Korea !!.!!

Pepero Day is an observance in South Korea 

similar to Valentine's Day, but held on November 11. 

The current purpose of this day is to exchange Pepero snacks 

to show affection for friends and loved-ones.

On Your Surgery Day !

On your surgery day, you will change into our scrub and prepare for the surgery. 

Then, you will see our consultant once again to sign up the consent forms.

Then, you will see our specialist again to get surgery design on your face.

This time, doctor explains about your surgery once more. 

(There is NO "shadow doctor" in GNG Hospital!)

After the surgery, you will be move to our recovery room right next to the surgery center. 

Once you are awake from anesthesia, we use a wheelchair to move you up to the ward :)
