Augmentation Post-Op Care
1. Most blood drainage bags (drain tube) are not inserted. Only patients who had a large amount of bleeding will require the blood
drainage tube, and should be
checked and removed at the hospital after 1 to 2 days.
2. General anesthesia recovery after surgery will take 3-4
hours. If you do not have any abnormal findings after checking
your general anesthesia recovery, you may be discharged.

From the 7th
day after surgery, take a sphincter-forming preventive (Singulair). Sometimes
it can cause skin trouble, but if you stop taking it for a week, you may resume
it again.

After visiting
the hospital, chest taping and seams, can be removed while showering the next
day. If you have an incision under the breast, you can shower from the third
day after surgery. However, excessive rubbing of the incision line should be
avoided. Treatment schedule may vary depending on the condition.
5.
Up to 3 months
after surgery, excessive exercise (golf, health, swimming, lifting heavy
things, etc.) or You should absolutely refrain from breast grabbing (sex life).
6.
When wearing a
correction bra, it is important to wear it so that the underline of the
correction bra and the taping area after surgery are completely aligned. If it
is worn incorrectly, it may be ineffective or wrinkles under the chest may be
caught incorrectly.
7.
It is helpful
to use scar relaxation ointment (Contractubex) or scar relaxation gel sheet (CICA-CARE)
to relieve the scar of incision area.
8.
In the case of
a weak and skinny body, the skin may not grow well, and the upper part may
become bulged at the initial stage after surgery. However, after 3 ~ 4 months,
the skin and surrounding tissues gradually improve and improve.
9.
Sometimes a
scar is a constitutional scab in the process, and sometimes scarring or
pigmentation may occur, but in this case, please contact the hospital because
it can be improved by laser treatment.
10.
If the skin
and soft tissues are thin, the touch of the implant may be felt (foreign body)
or the outline of the implant may be seen.
11.
Drinking and
smoking are prohibited for one month.
12.
If the
incision was made below the breast line, the patient may not need to wear the
correction bra, but may simply wear a wireless sports bra.
