Before surgery

Right after surgery

It's such a bad photo hahaha

Even though it looks little weird due to the bandage and ice pack, it's really helpful to reduce the swelling.
It was very comfortable because the ward was a private room which has small personal fridge and washbasin and I could watch TV while lying down.

The nurses often came in the room to change the ice pack!

3rd day post-op

Dr.Choi said I will get maximum swelling on the 3rd day post-op which was so true ^^; 

However, after 3rd day, swelling was subsidizing pretty quickly.

I was not worried :)

7th day post-op

Compare to 3rd day post-op, the swelling went down quite a lot now!

Bruise changed to yellow color and it slowly went down to the bottom of my face and eventually disappeared.

I went to the hospital to see a doctor and he said I'm healing well and everything is fine!

14th day post-op

Can you see my jaw line?

It amazes me whenever I look at myself in the mirror.

Now, I can have soft meat(I should avoid chewy food for sometime after the facial contouring!)
Every time, I go to the hospital for follow up treatment and check up, they took 3D-CT scan and doctor checked on me.
Everything was professional and well organized.

1 month post-op

It's been 1 month post-op.

I have no problem so far.

And I can eat all the food I want to eat hehe.

3 months post-op

Time flies hahaha.

Before the surgery, I was worried about the result. Like, 'what if the result might be unnatural...'

But it was a unnecessary worry :)

The first 1~2 weeks was tough but after that it got better!

It was the first time I had professional photo shoot and it was interesting and fun!

Before surgery

I had an insecurity about my eyes,nose,cheekbone.

I couldn't even imagine to go out without double eyelids gel.

I disliked my blunt nose tip,low now bridge and protruded cheekbone and mouth. 

My friend introduced GNG Hospital to me.

I had faith in GNG Hospital because I have seen my friend's surgery result and also it has thorough after care system.

I wanted to improve over all my face feature so decided to get double eyelids surgery, rhinoplasty and facial contouring, all at the same time.

2nd day post-op

When I was discharged, the nurse removed the bandage from my face.

It was hard to breath on the first week since I got rhinoplasty with facial contouring.

7th day post-op

It's been 7th day post-op~

My cast was removed today~ 

I have been walking a lot everyday because it reduces the swelling more quickly.

I went to the hospital for follow up treatment as well as seeing doctor.

 After taking 3D-CT scan, doctors checked my condition in person and explained about the surgery. 

It was very helpful and relieved.

14th day post-op

Some people said swelling went down unevenly but my eyes were even during the recovery period! When the Silastics were removed on the 2nd weeks post-op, it felt really good! No more stuffiness! 

21st day post-op

I really think I don't need to wear a make up anymore since now I have pretty and clear eyes and nose!

1 month post-op

Time flies ~
Now I can enjoy all the food(I had some snacks...ddeok  bok ggi, deep-fried veg and soondea)

The swelling on my eyes and nose area is almost gone! Yeah!!

2 months post-op

It's been 2 months after the surgery. 

Major swelling went down in 1st month!! 

I had photo shoot hehe

It was my first time someone did my hair and make up!

It was really professional~ 

3 months post-op

I was depressed whenever I remove my make up but now I am happy even without make up!

Real story-Dahye's Concern: Uneven Face Line

Before surgery

 

Hello!

I am a normal girl in my 20s who has a insecurity on uneven and asymmetric face line but I thought it was just a fat and sagging skin.

I just followed my friend who was looking for a hospital for rhinoplasty and double jaw surgery and I wanted to just get a consultation at GNG Hospital!

Even though I was just getting a consultation, the consultant and doctor checked my condition thoroughly and set up a precise surgery plan. So as soon as I realized that my problem was not a fat on my face, I decided right away to get a surgery.

This is me before surgery. 

I tried so hard to lose weight but my face line was not changed at all... even though I am young, I have sagging skin which made my face line worse...
I think fat on my cheek and angular jaw bone made my sagging skin more obvious :(

7th day post -op 

It's been 7 days post-op!! 

There is some swelling but I could see the change right away!!
I was actually surprised that I didn't get much swelling and almost no bruise.

My friends said I look cute like a hamster hahaha.

1 month post-op 

I went to Jeonju for a short trip~

I wore a beautiful Hanbok which is Korean traditional dress ;)

It was so fun!

Major swelling went down a lot so I think after small swelling goes away, it will be perfect!

Doctor said my recovery speed is really fast haha.

 2 months post-op

It's been 2 months post-op!

I used to hid my face line with my hair.

But, these days, I tie up my hair all the time hehehe(I feel so confident!)

Honestly, I got pretty and feminine face line after the surgery.

That's why, even when I tie my hair, still look pretty :)  

3 months post-op

 It's been 3 months post-op! 

Actually, I was worried about sagging skin but it was an useless worry.

It's been 6 months post-op~!

I feel there is almost no swelling.

Not to mention I am fully recovered, the nurses were so kind and professional.

Zygoma Reduction And Revision Rhinoplasty, Jeongwoo's Concern's Solved!

Before surgery

Since long time ago, I have had complex on my blunt nose and protruded cheekbone. 

I thought once my nose becomes slimmer, my face could look slimmer too so I got a rhinoplasty in another hospital but I was not satisfied with the result. 

It made my blunt nose look worse(bigger) and silicon was not smoothly connected with my forehead so it looked very unnatural.

Moreover, after the surgery, I got nasal congestion which was not there before the surgery.

Over all my nose still has swelling but pain was little :)

My recovery took so fast and protruded cheekbone went in which made my face line look more smooth!

My nose also became defined after the revision rhinoplasty.

2 months post-op

The scar healed well and swelling is almost gone so I was happy!

3 months post-op

It's been 3 months post-op. 

This is exactly what I wanted and I am very satisfied.

Swelling has gone a lot and scar healed well so it is almost not visible :)

6 months post-op

Doctor said swelling goes away until 6 months which was true :)

I didn't realized it but when I compared with old pictures It was obviously different.

The result was satisfactory. 

My complex which gave me a lot of stress disappeared at once. I couldn't be more than happy.

Facial Contouring, Before and After

Three types Facial contouring is including chin+mandible+cheekbone.

Patients ask many questions about mandible reduction since they only think their mandible is problem.

Instructions after Facial Contouring

1. Please don't blow your nose during first three weeks.

2.After the surgery, it is good to keep your head upper than heart. It helps comfortable breathing and reduces your snoring. You can sleep on side but don't lie with your face down and sleep.

3. You need to breathe deeply and slowly, otherwise, you may have lung complications. If you suddenly feel difficult to breathe, please tell our nurse about your symptom. 

4. After surgery, to minimize your swelling, you need to do ice pack. Ice pack should be done until 3 days post operation. Depend on patients, the amount of swelling is different so don't compare your swelling with other patients. Usually, swelling and bruise disappear in one to two weeks. Please start warm pack one week post operation.

5. During first week after surgery, you need to gargle your mouth well with water and medicine because facial bone surgery is done in your mouth. To keep your mouth clean and prevent infection, you need to gargle your mouth with water 10 times and on 11th, you need to gargle with medicine. Your mouth will be swollen up and it would be difficult to close your mouth so I recommend you to hold your lips. It is important to remove the food stuck on your scar. Though you don't eat anything, white substance can be made and can stuck on your scar. Thus I recommend you to do it often and it would be helpful for your healing.

6. To prevent the infection, you should avoid smoking and drinking.

7. You should stop taking painkiller such as aspirin, vitamin E and hormone medication for one week before surgery.

8. For make-up or other skin care, you should wait at least one week. Sauna and bath, spending long time in hot water should be avoided.

Before Surgery

"Hello everyone! My name is Dahye and I want to share my surgery experience at GNG Hospital!"

I always concerned about my uneven facial line and didn't like my asymmetric face line. I thought this is because of my fat and baby fat. When my friend was looking for hospital for two jaw surgery and rhinoplasty, I visited GNG Hospital together and had consultation with my friends.
