Not sure about what implants would be the best for your nose? We got you!
There are some options for rhinoplasty, and each one of them has their own advantages.
1.
Silicone
Silicon is the most commonly used material
in rhinoplasty especially for female rhinoplasty. It is used for adding height
on the bridge, and good for making a sophisticated, defined shape.
When silicone is used for the nose bridge, the possibility of the shape changing is fairly low.
GNG adopts Ultra-Soft Silicone, which is
the most soft and elastic material among silicones. It is less likely to have
reflection through the skin than the original silicone.
Also, if any problem situation happens, it can be
easily removed.
2.
Gore-tex
Gore-tex has a tendency to be attached to
body tissue,
so it is used for male rhinoplasty since they are more active and
it’s strong against shock, or for those who has very thin skin.
Usually male
patients prefer gore-tex because it creates a natural line.
3.
Cartilage (Donated or Your Own
Rib Cartilage)
If you are against any kind of implants or have
any complications after rhinoplasty using implants, you can consider rib
cartilage! Either donated cartilage or your own rib cartilage. Your rib
cartilage is the safest and strongest material for rhinoplasty. So it’s used
for complicated revision rhinoplasty, or for those who live abroad and cannot visit Korea often, or for those who just wants to trim down the bridge.
GNG makes the cartilage into the finely
diced powder and wrap it in a fascia. With this technique, the absorption rate decreases compared to just using dermis.
According to the individual’s conditions,
our highly experienced rhinoplasty specialist will recommend you the most
suitable material for your case during a face-to-face consultation. Do not
