Seoul has a bountiful selection of outdoor food markets. People from all over the world travel across the globe to enjoy the food and drinks in this small country. So where can you go to check out the best outdoor traditional markets? Here's a few to keep you entertained during your stay!
Do you know Noryangjin Fish Market? It is the biggest and most vibrant seafood market in the Seoul city. There are all sorts of fresh and raw seafood available ranging from clams, lobsters, king crab, live octopus, and all sorts of other goods.
Endless bountiful selections of meat, you say? Only in Korea will they have a whole section of a district dedicated entirely to a street market filled with all sorts of different types of meat on display. You basically go and select the type of meat and they will slice and dice it for you, then take you to one of the nearby quality restaurants that season, grill and prep it to your desire.
At both markets, you basically select and choose which you want to eat and another "ee-mo" (aunty) will come and bring you to one of the various restaurants for it to be cooked and prepared for you.
Basically, all you need to worry about is haggling at the market to get the best price, because of course, everything at the markets are completely negotiable, and then the ee-mos will take care of the rest!
