Hello guys! I am Zao from China 👯👯👯 . I am currently staying in Korea to have training at GNG Hospital laboratory. I was so happy that I can stay in Korea even more study at GNG Hospital which is very popular and famous in China.
I got consultation with oral and maxillofacial surgeon for facial contouring and plastic surgeon for my double eye lid revision.
Before the surgery, I got few check ups for general anesthesia. The facilities are very new and good. Everything was ready for check-up before the surgery.
This picture is when I was taking 3D-CT scan. I took 3D-CT scan to see the difference before and after the surgery. This scan will be used for checking whether my bone is recovering well after contouring surgery.
The picture on the right is before surgery. My double eye lid looks unnatural and the sizes are different.
First, I got double eye lid surgery.
I had my first double eye lid surgery in China and I didn't like my double eye lid line. Whenever I take picture, I could find my eyes are different in terms of size and shape. Every person uses different strength and muscle to open one's eyes but the Chinese doctor missed this important point and did my eye lid surgery. I was looking forward to having revision to improve my double eye lid line. At GNG Hospital, I finally found the right doctor for my revision.
During the consultation, the doctor explained relationship between my anatomical characteristic and functions. The doctor explained knowledge that I couldn't find from medical books and his own skill. I was so satisfied with the consultation and could fully rely on him.
After three days, I removed stitch and did hot pack massage. This picture is before the stitch out. Anyway, I like my new double eye lid line. When the swelling goes away, I am sure my eyes would be prettier than before!
I did my facial contouring on the seventh day after surgery because of my personal occasion. If you want, you can have both in one day and it is possible! Facial contouring is very popular in China but I couldn't find doctor who has lot of experience and great skill like doctor at GNG Hospital. Since I am working as part-time model in China also, I take pictures often. People said I look okay but I couldn't be satisfied with my square mandible. I also heard Korean celebrities do surgeries often but it looks very natural. I knew for my face, the result of facial contouring would not be very dramatic because my mandible is don't too much of square but for me it was too visible so I decided to have mandible reduction.
It has been 2 weeks after double eye lid surgery and 1 week after facial contouring. Today, I took after surgery pictures to see how the change is. Swelling on my face came down under my chin but I can't find strong line of my mandible anymore. When I touch under my chin, it is very hard but doctor explained my muscle under chin become stiff and it will become relaxed as time goes.
This is the third week after my double eye lid surgery. Beautiful cherry blossoms came out here in Korea! I went out to see the flowers with GNG Hospital staffs! Now I don't have any difficulties on my double eye lid but still I have swelling on my eyes so the line changes depending on the strength I put. Sense on my mandible is recovering and swelling has gone a lot. In terms of eating, if the food is not too hard or chewy, I can eat everything. I feel like 80% of my sense and swelling has been recovered. Actually, the movement and the sense become recovered and face become more relaxed than before.
After a month, swelling on my mandible is recovering as fast as my eye surgery. Usually, even before the surgery, every morning I used to swelling and in the afternoon it went away so I don't worry much about swelling. I took selfie on the way to GNG Hospital. How do I look?
I visited China for few days and it has been two months after surgery. While I was staying in China, I met my friends. They are all surprised with my change! I told them I had revision on my eyes and mandible reduction. My friends asked a lot of questions about GNG Hospital and two of my friends actually visited GNG Hospital. Now I can hang out only with light make-up.
Though I came to Korea for training as doctor and doctor's degree, I learned many things from GNG Hospital through my real surgery experience. Every one in GNG Hospital was really kind and I can learn much about plastic surgery. During my training period, I am going to learn many things from GNG Hospital. Thank you GNG Hospital and doctors!
